Aquaculture and Marine resource management - Wageningen UR

Oceans are of immense value to both humans and nature. They provide food, coastal protection, opportunities for tourism, energy production, transportation, climate mitigation and so on. As pressures from overfishing, climate change, and environmental degradation intensify, there is an urgent need for experts who can manage aquatic systems sustainably and innovatively. The master’s Aquaculture and Marine Resource Management at Wageningen University & Research is a globally oriented, interdisciplinary programme that prepares students to address these complex challenges. How can we use marine resources and conserve and restore marine ecosystems at the same time? And how can we catch or produce fish for consumption responsibly and sustainably?
