In this two-year, English-taught Master’s, you will gain in-depth expertise within the field of energy technology, while supplementing it with the broader knowledge and skills needed to achieve real change in our societies’ energy systems. You will be able to use your understanding of technology and engineering as an enabler, leader and game-changer in the transition towards sustainable energy systems.
You can start your studies in September or February. If you need to follow a Pre-Master’s first, you can start in September and continue with the Master’s in February.
In essence, the Master’s in Sustainable Energy Technology (SET) is about realising the sustainable energy transition, from research to development to implementation to social acceptance. As a student, you will gain in-depth knowledge about renewable energy sources, such as solar energy, wind energy or biomass. But you will also learn about system integration (e.g. what kind of electrical infrastructure is needed for successful integration of a renewable energy source?) and about the socio-economical aspects of the sustainable energy transition. To sum up, you will be trained in chemical, electrical, process and mechanical engineering, as well as in economics, business development, innovation, supply chain management and societal change.
