How can the sustainability of a chemical process be improved? How can you make biodiesel from the jatropha plant? How can you design a catalyst to convert the greenhouse gas CO2 into a biodegradable polymer? How can used car tyres be recycled to make a waterproof rubber coating? How can you develop a new biobased polymer with tailored functionalities?
These are some of the questions you will be able to answer after completing the Master's degree programme in Chemical Engineering in Groningen. The two-year programme offers a core programme and a choice of five specializations: Advanced Process Technology, Bio-based Products and Processes, Industrial Catalysis and Polymeric Products, and Renewable Energy.
